Plastic filled ballast plastic sleeves are ideal to insert within ground frames on uPVC and alloy goals. This will provide additional stability. The Plastic sleeve is sold as a PAIR and is 900mm long.
HOW TO USE THE PLASTIC SLEEVE AS COUNTER BALANCE.
1. Fill sand or earth inside the plastic sleeve
2. Weigh the sleeve and add more sand/earth to the desired weight required. The weight required will be stated on the fitting instructions relavent to specific safety standards depending on goal size and material.
3. Seal the end of the plastic sleeve, ie by taping
4. Insert the sleeve inside the ground back frame or side ground frames.
Note : The anchors supplied with the goals should also be used and these sleeves do not replace anchoring/counter weight systems supplied with your goal, Always follow the instructions supplied with your goal.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Note the British Standard BS 8462:2005+A2:2012 has recently been amended in April 2012. Please note this will effect goals that weigh 18kg and above. Please refer to the current particular fitting instructions for details on how to make your goal conform to the standard by simply inserting additional plastic sleeve counter balance weight.
Sand/earth is not supplied within the plastic sleeve.
